Georgia -3.5 over Colorado

I think class will tell here and the hook won't make a difference.

Among other reasons:

Including playoffs, Georgia is 12-4 SU versus teams with >.500 regular season records and Colorado is only 5-5 SU.

Colorado's statistics have been padded by weaker opponents with six fewer games against winning teams.

Blowout!

Not going to be a BLOWOUT in the Arena Bowl... this isn't like last year. These teams are evenly matched in terms of talent, but I think Georgia's going to find a way to win this one late just like they did against Orlando and Tampa.

Colorado gets some credit for being 5-5 SU against +.500 teams because they marched into Orlando, New York, and Chicago just to name a few. The majority of Georgia's +.500 team victories were at home... Orlando and Tampa twice, and New Orleans to name a few... but @ San Jose, @ LA, and @ NY were all the same results... in fact, Georgia can't be 12-4 SU because they lost those 3 games and @ Tampa and @ Orlando in the regular season...

After looking, Georgia was 7-5 against +.500 teams...
Colorado was 4-5...

But again, keep in mind that Georgia played A LOT more of these games at home than Colorado did.

GA's 5 road losses were by an average of 5.2 points. They were ALWAYS competitive. They never lost 62-28 or 89-41 or 75-51, or to GRAND RAPIDS. GA was simply more consistent than anyone. Only 1 loss was double digits, by 10 at TB, also unbeaten at home. And I cannot back any team that has a chance to go up 27-0 at home in a conference championship game and then gets lucky to win. Only thing worrying me is Dutton having Arenabowl experience, and winning it easily 3 years ago.
